In 2019, Uncle Bob and his family started developing their maple farm outside the city of Chillicothe located in southern Ohio. With the help of the farm's previous owner and operator, the family was able to harvest their first crop of sap during the late winter and early spring of 2020.

Uncle Bob’s pure maple syrup is distilled from the sap of a variety of southern Ohio maple species in late winter every year. It takes over 40 gallons of pure sap to make one gallon of pure syrup.
